    Quality Control Test Update

Yesterday’s quality control check was a successful exercise. We expected to find some leaks and we found them.

This was not surprising to the project team considering the age of the hull and the sheer volume of work completed on the hull during this dry docking.

What does this mean? It means that the Battleship is closer to being leak free for the first time in a very long time. And that there is a little more work to be done to ensure that Battleship Texas is leak free into the future.

Great work from everyone with Valkor, Gulf Copper, and the Battleship Texas Foundation! Battleship Texas is back out of the water and will remain in dry dock until February 2024.
